Mr. Yancey has been a licensed investigator both in California (PI#15959) and Arizona (PI#1003909) for the past 16 years as a defense representative.

His success is reflected by the convictions and notoriety following the very first conviction in Monterey County for workers’ compensation and embezzlement investigations.

Mr. Yancey has successfully trained investigators through his agency, James Yancey of James Yancey Investigations, Jose Canchola of JL Canchola Investigations and Alex Martinez of AMI Investigations who was trained following his brief career as a police officer.
