Mr. Yancey is a retired peace officer with the State of California. During his 14 year tenure, Mr. Yancey received several letters of recommendation and commendation for identifying gangs,
counterfeiters and escorting high profile prisoners such as Dan White, Sirhan Sirhan and Charles Manson.
Mr. Yancey is a veteran of the Vietnam Era. He is an alumnus of North Salinas High School and Hartnell College.
Mr. Yancey has long supported his community and takes pride in the thousands of dollars that is returned back to the community annually by donations.
